Innovative Operations Technology completes first full year of Ticketing for customers
Innovative Operations Technology’s ticketing platform was utilized by customers for the first full year since product deployment. In 2021, IOT developed a railroad passenger ticket system to help meet the goals and demands of railroad excursion trains. IOT staff realized that a market for a modern, easy to use ticketing platform was essential at filling a void within the rail passenger ticketing sector as well as being able to focus on railroad specific needs. As the system was being built and tested, additional features and abilities were identified and installed on the modern platform. 2022 proved to be a high volume exercise for the new system, but it proved to meet all requirements and sailed through the year processing over half a million tickets since deployment. At the same time, new features, abilities, and reporting were incorporated into the system keeping the system easy to use for both customers and back end system users. As the system grew, the abilities grew with it, allowing it to handle nearly any venue or requirement as it is built on a very solid foundation.
